What does the Office Manager do at Modea?
 
We're currently looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic person to handle a variety of administrative responsibilities for the company. The office manager will champion our culture and provide top-notch support for our high-energy crew. They will maintain the our Blacksburg, VA location, ensure employees have what they need to do their jobs, and support our employees as they travel throughout the country for events/client visits. This is a part-time position located at our office in Blacksburg, VA (20-25 hours per week).
 
Job Summary
 
Here are a few specific things we’d be looking for you to do:
 
  • Act as receptionist during morning hours and client visits: greet visitors, screen telephone calls and visitors, manage office deliveries
  • Coordinate complex travel arrangements (both domestic and international)
  • Coordinate day-to-day office operations and manage service vendors (inventory, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.)
  • Provide creative coordination and execution of office and community service events
  • Maintain a clean and healthy working environment for the company.
  • Provide accurate and dependable executive assistance for our leadership
  • Assist HR with employee onboarding and offboarding as needed
